National HBPA Launches Online Blog The Horsemen''''s Journal - Spring 2010Following its establishment of Facebook (www.facebook.com/nationalhbpa) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/nationalhbpa) pages in recent months, the National HBPA has taken another big step in its efforts to communicate to its members and the horse racing industry more quickly and effectively with the launch of the new National HBPA blog, The Horsemen’s Daily, which can be found at: http://nationalhbpa.blogspot.com/.
The new National HBPA blog will be a place you can go to get a unique HBPA horsemen’s perspective on important issues facing the horse racing industry. It will be a place where you can learn information and hear opinions from the leaders and expert consultants of your organization – and a place where you can hear the horsemen’s perspective without any filtering through other media.
National HBPA experts on things like medication and research, immigration, simulcasting, and many other issues will lend their knowledge and insight periodically, as will the National HBPA’s officers, staff, committee chairs, and affiliate executive directors and board members.
As we start out, we are aiming to post new articles two or three times a week, and the frequency may change based on the feedback we receive. And that’s one of the best things about the blog – it is a place that you will be able to participate and “interact. You will be able to post comments and interact both with your association and other horsemen.
We hope the National HBPA blog will quickly become a staple of your online reading and a place you can routinely come for interesting, thought-provoking information and conversations that will be helpful as you navigate the tricky waters of our industry’s many complicated issues.
Come be a part the conversation and give us your feedback at The Horsemen’s Daily so that we can be the best representative association
horsemen can have. Visit http://nationalhbpa.blogspot.com/ today, bookmark it, and come back often. You can also find the National HBPA blog by visiting www.nationalhbpa.com and clicking on the tab labeled “Blog.” Return
